Our cities should belong to people. Let them move on foot, by bike, by public transport, by special means or however they want. The main thing is that we should respect each other. Let's take a step forward because the future is today and the future is inclusive public space. Tallinn Urban Space Festival was born out of the desire to share this view.

The purpose of the festival, which took place in June on Rävala Boulevard, was to invite all citizens to think about the issues of our living environment and urban spaces. Get them to move, act, look, experience, discover and ask: How should the streets of the future look like? How does each of us relate to them?

In order for these topics and questions to appeal to the widest audience possible, the city of Tallinn wanted visuals that would differentiate from their usual brand visuals where the characters are recognizable as specific people (young-old, men-women). We decided to interpret the city's brand book more freely, creating geometric characters that everyone could see themselves as, regardless of age or gender. All of us are sometimes a square and sometimes more of a circle or a triangle!
