What is happiness? How to find it? Why are some people and nations happier than others? The exhibition ‘Heaps of Happiness!? An exhibition on well-being, mental health, and balance’ at the Estonian Health Museum helps to find some answers to those and other questions.

The exhibition explores what makes people happy and focuses on mental health issues and how to cope with them. In other words, it is a broad and sensitive topic that the client wanted to solve in a positive way. The people at the Health Museum liked our illustration style and they turned to us to create the exhibition’s visual identity. It was an interesting challenge that we explored in a year of fruitful and mutually trusting cooperation.

We used illustrations that combine real-world images and abstract symbols to speak to a wide range of ages and open up complex topics. The typography is clear and friendly. In cooperation with Platform studio, we also created digital solutions containing interactive surveys.

In addition to the exhibition’s graphic design, we also created posters and a book on happiness, which as well as the exhibition, provides practical tips on how to focus on the positive power within yourself and consciously make your life better.

The interior design was done by: b210 studio.
The digital solutions and exhibits by: Platvorm.

The Health Museum received a special prize at the Estonian Museum Awards for the exhibition and publication and for its long-term innovative and collaborative exhibition activities.
